Phones for thought evaluation

In lesson me and my two other group members where set a preliminary task to interview a person around school on mobile phones with the questiones that we had been given. We also had to take all the cutaways and then, in another full lesson edit the whole documentary adding a title and music. The video 'Phones for thoughts' that you can see below is my groups documentary. The main strengths in our documentary is that the narrative was still there even when we had finished editing, we framed to one side (right) in a close up and the interviewee was looking in the right dorection towards the interviewer.
However somethink we need to work on and didnt quite get right was the mise en scene, as ours was distracting with people in the background and it should be the interviewee who is the main point. Our pauses also needed to be edited shorter to make it flow better and some of the camera work was abit shakey and out of focus.
Concidering this was our first attempt at making a documentary i think we done ok and we have now learnt from are mistakes after going through and analysing it and afetr learning the codes and conventions of an interview.
